Scope
This standard specifies the determination methods for trace hardness in water samples such as softened water, effluent from H-type cation exchange columns, boiler feedwater, and condensate water.
This standard is applicable to the determination of hardness (calculated as 12 ions of Ca2+ and Mg2+) in water samples with a content ranging from 0.5 μmol/L to 200 μmol/L.
