Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage of preserved silk quilts made from preserved mulberry silk. This standard applies to preserved silk quilts made from preserved mulberry silk as the main raw material and produced through the process of quilt making. Note: Preserved mulberry silk refers to mulberry silk that has been preserved and fixed by sericin finishing, retaining and reducing the water solubility of sericin.
