Scope

Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions of Caofeidian rice, the scope of protection for the "Geographical Indication Certification Mark" registered with the Trademark Office of the former State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage for Caofeidian rice. This document applies to the "Caofeidian Rice" approved by the Trademark Office of the former State Administration for Industry and Commerce as a "Geographical Indication Certification Mark"; Main technical content: 5.1 Natural Environment 5.1.1 Geographical Conditions The land is flat, with a river alluvial plain in the north and a coastal sedimentary plain in the south, with an elevation of 2.0m to 4.5m and a groundwater depth of 0.8m to 1.5m. 5.1.2 Climate Characteristics The area belongs to a warm and semi-humid continental monsoon climate with distinct seasons and synchronized rainfall and temperature. Spring is rainy and windy with a dry climate; summer is hot and rainy, with most precipitation concentrated in July and August; autumn is sunny with warm days and cool nights; and winter is cold with little snowfall. The average annual temperature is 11.7°C, the average annual rainfall is 569.2mm, and the average annual sunshine duration is 2590.6 hours. The frost-free period lasts 188 days. With sufficient sunlight and large temperature differences between day and night, the rice growing period is suitable for 165 to 175 days. 5.1.3 Soil Conditions The soils are classified as saline-alkali and waterlogged soils. The total salt content in the topsoil ranges from 0.1% to 0.6%, with NaCl as the main component. The texture is loamy or clayey, and the pH value is 7.5 to 8.3. The organic matter content in the 0cm to 25cm layer is ≥1.0%, meeting the requirements of GB 15618. 5.1.4 Water Quality The irrigation water should comply with the requirements of GB 5084. 5.1.5 Air Quali
