Scope

Main Technical Content: 3. Planting Environment in the He Tu Irrigation Area 3.1 Requirements for Soil Conditions in Greenhouses - Select a pollution-free area with good production environment for greenhouse construction. Preferably, choose areas with higher elevation, lower groundwater levels, convenient irrigation and drainage, and deep loam or sandy loam soils that meet the environmental requirements for green vegetable production. 3.2 Requirements for Greenhouse Insulation Performance - The greenhouse design must comply with energy-efficient principles, featuring excellent lighting, heating, and insulation performance, convenient ventilation, easy operation, strong resistance to wind and snow pressure, stable structure, and indoor relative illumination of 50%–80%. A cold prevention ditch with a width of 30–40 cm and a depth of 50 cm should be set around the greenhouse. The ditch is filled with materials such as wheat straw or 10 cm-thick insulation boards, which can raise the 5 cm ground temperature in the greenhouse by 4–5°C. 4. Preparation for Seeding 4.1 Preparation of Seedbeds - After leveling the soil in the greenhouse, establish seedbeds. Typically, the seedbeds are 1–1.2 m wide and 20 cm high. A layer of 1–2 cm of sieved fine soil is laid at the bottom of the seedbeds, smoothed, and covered with a geotextile. Heating cables with an 8-10 cm spacing are laid beneath the geotextile and connected in parallel. A 2 cm layer of sieved fine soil is then added on top of the heating cables, after which seed trays or nutrient pots can be placed. 4.2 Seed Preparation - Use 50- or 32-hole seed trays for seedling cultivation. - Substrate preparation: - Use a mixture of peat and vermiculite (2:1), with appropriate amounts of composted farmyard manure added. - Alternatively, use commercial seedling substrates that meet the requirements of NY/T 2118. - Pre-wet and disinfect the substrate: Add 75 g of wettable powder of chlorothalonil o
