Scope: This document establishes the terminology and definitions of Lingshi sour jujube kernels, production technical specifications, product quality standards, packaging and storage, and product labeling guidelines. Main Technical Content: 3.1 Lingshi sour jujube kernels refer to jujube products originating from Lingshi County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, which are grown according to specific production techniques and meet relevant national regulations. 4. Production Technical Requirements 4.1 Variety: The variety should be a local traditional wild Rosaceae plant, Ziziphus jujuba Mill. var. spinosa (Bunge) Hu ex H.F. Chou., with small, spherical or short-rectangular fruit suitable for cultivation in mountainous areas. 4.2 Seedling Cultivation 4.2.1 Seed Selection: Select Lingshi sour jujube seedlings according to product requirements. The seed quality should comply with GB/T 3543.1-1995. 4.2.2 Direct Sowing: Sow in autumn or spring. Dig holes 70-100 cm deep in prepared soil at a row spacing of 1-1.5 m and a planting spacing of 50-100 cm. Plant 3-4 seeds per hole, cover with 2-3 cm of soil, and compact the soil to ensure close contact between the seeds and the soil. Loosen the soil and weed annually. After 3-4 years, the trees can flower and bear fruit. 4.2.3 Seedling Transplantation 4.2.3.1 Preparation of Seedbed: Prepare a seedbed by leveling and raking the soil. Dig 4-5 cm deep trenches at a row spacing of 40 cm and plant the seeds evenly. Cover with 2-3 cm of soil, compact the soil, and water to maintain moisture. 4.2.3.2 Cultivation in the Nursery: Transplant the seedlings to the prepared soil at a row spacing of 1-1.5 m and a planting spacing of 50-100 cm.
