Scope

This document specifies a test method for determining the cracking sensitivity of pipeline steel in an acidic environment (a low-pH aqueous solution containing H2S) using a complete section of pipe sample. This document is applicable to the cracking sensitivity of seamless pipes, straight-seam welded pipes, spiral-seam welded pipes, or ring-welded pipes in an acidic environment.
