Scope

This document specifies the classification and designations, dimensions, allowable deviations in dimensions, shapes, measurements of dimensions and shapes, weight, and numerical rounding of hot-rolled thin steel plates and steel strips (hereinafter referred to as "steel plates and steel strips") produced by the double-roll casting and rolling process.
This document is applicable to hot-rolled thin steel strips with a thickness of 0.6 mm to 2.0 mm and a width of 900 mm to 1,800 mm, slit steel strips, and steel plates cut transversely from steel strips, which are produced by the double-roll casting and rolling process.
