Scope: This document specifies the production environment, production methods, quality requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of Huangqin from Luanping County. This document applies to Huangqin that is cultivated, harvested, and preliminarily processed within Luanping County. Main technical content: 4. Production Environment 4.1 Soil Conditions: The soil conditions are mainly loess and sandy loess with deep soil layers and good drainage, which meet the risk screening values for farmland soil pollution in GB 15618. 4.2 Climate Conditions: The climate of the Yanshan Mountains in Luanping County is a transitional zone from temperate to warm temperate, with a semi-arid to semi-humid continental monsoon climate. The average annual temperature is 7.7℃, with an average annual sunshine duration of 2694.1 hours, a frost-free period of 156 days, and an average annual precipitation of 351.1 mm. 4.3 Water Source Conditions: There are four major rivers in the area, including the Luan River, Yixun River, Xingzhou River, and Chaoh River. There are seven tributaries with a drainage area of more than 100 square kilometers, 65 drainage ditches with a drainage area of between 10 and 100 square kilometers, and thousands of seasonal small rivers.
