Scope
This standard specifies the climate zone limits for clothing and the requirements for the thermal protection of work protective clothing in each zone. This standard applies to cold-weather clothing for workers engaged in outdoor work in winter. Workers engaged in cold-weather work in perennially low-temperature environments may also refer to and implement this standard accordingly.
