Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, site environment, site preparation, propagation methods, field management, prevention and control of major pests and diseases, harvesting, drying, and storage requirements for the large-field cuttings planting of Salvia miltiorrhiza root segments. This standard applies to the large-field cuttings planting of Salvia miltiorrhiza root segments. Main technical content: 1. Site selection and preparation 1.1 Site selection: Select sandy loam plots with deep soil layers, relatively uniform texture, rich in humus, facing the sun, and with good irrigation and drainage conditions. 1.2 Site preparation 1.2.1 Tillage and fertilization: Before tillage, apply aerobic high-temperature composted manure (2000 kg/mu, meeting the standards of organic fertilizer GB 525 for heavy metals and other harmful substances), urea nitrate (80 kg/mu, with N content ≥ 17%), and 3% chlorpyrifos granules (6 kg/mu) to the soil. Till the soil to a depth of ≥ 35 cm. After tilling, apply calcium phosphate (50 kg/mu, with P content ≥ 18%) and potassium sulfate (20 kg/mu, with K content ≥ 50%) before rotary tillage and leveling. 1.2.2 Ridge preparation: The ridge width is 60 cm, the ridge height is 20 cm, and the ridge spacing is 30 cm. Lay a φ16/20 cm drip irrigation pipe on the ridge centerline, and cover with a 92 cm wide, 0.012 mm thick original material black perforated film. Arrange the film holes according to a 20 cm row spacing and 20 cm plant spacing, with a diameter of 4.5 cm. (According to local conditions, leave room at the edges and ends of the ridge to facilitate mechanical harvesting operations.) 1.2.3 Digging drainage ditches: Dig drainage ditches around the ridge, with the bottom of the ditch ≥ 55 cm below the ground level to ensure smooth drainage. 2.
