Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the structural type, basic parameters, and main dimensions of the drum-toothed couplings (hereinafter referred to as couplings) for the main drive of cold rolling mills. It also covers model marking, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to couplings connecting the output shaft of gear reducers or electric motors with the two drive shaft systems of cold rolling mills and leveling mill rolls. The nominal torque transmission range is 50 kN·m to 1,270 kN·m, with a rotating diameter of the roll end of 225 mm to 550 mm. The maximum angle of deviation of the axis under working load is 1.5°, and the maximum angle of deviation of the axis without working load is 2°. The working environment temperature ranges from -20°C to 80°C. Note: For the selection of couplings, please refer to Appendix A.
