Scope
Scope: This document specifies the relevant terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage, and shelf life of mugwort steam eye masks. This document applies to disposable eye masks manufactured within the Wolong District of Nanyang City, which are primarily made from medical non-woven fabrics, iron powder, mugwort powder (or mugwort extract, mugwort essential oil, and mugwort fluff) as raw materials. These products are designed and cut, then compounded and molded into specific shapes, and finally sealed in special outer packaging bags. When exposed to air, these products can spontaneously generate a small amount of water vapor for heat, which is used to protect the eyes and prevent and alleviate eye fatigue, dryness, and blurred vision caused by excessive use of the eyes. Main technical content: Mugwort: The dried above-ground parts of Artemisia argyi Lévl. et Vant., a plant of the Asteraceae family. Mugwort leaves: The dried leaves of Artemisia argyi Lévl. et Vant., a plant of the Asteraceae family. Mugwort powder: A powder made from standard-compliant mugwort through crushing and processing. Mugwort extract: A substance made from standard-compliant mugwort through extraction processing. Mugwort essential oil: An essential oil extracted from standard-compliant mugwort using methods such as steam distillation and supercritical or subcritical extraction. Mugwort fluff: A fine and soft fluff made from dried mugwort leaves. The shelf life of the product is not less than 24 months.
