Scope

This standard specifies the determination methods for four tobacco-specific N-nitrosamines in tobacco and tobacco products, including N-nitroso-nicotine (NNN), N-nitroso-anatabine (NAT), N-nitroso-pseudonicaotine (NAB), and 4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(pyridin-3-yl)-1-butanone (NNK). This standard is applicable to tobacco and tobacco products.
