Scope

This standard specifies the structural design, performance requirements, and test methods of the propeller pitch indicator (hereinafter referred to as the indicator system) required by Article 19.2.5.4 of Chapter V of the SOLAS Convention 1974 (and its 2000 amendments), as well as the required test results.
This standard is used in conjunction with IMO Resolution A.694(17) and the IEC 60945 standard.
When there are inconsistencies between this standard and the IEC 60945 standard, this standard shall take precedence.
