Scope

This standard specifies the performance evaluation methods for non-compressible fluid flow meters and the methods of presenting the test results of flow meter performance. This standard applies to flow meters used for measuring single-phase non-compressible fluids in closed pipes. For flow meters used under special working conditions, in addition to meeting the requirements specified in this standard, they shall also comply with the requirements of other relevant standards. Some test items or requirements specified in this standard may not be applicable to certain types of flow meters, while certain types of flow meters may require additional test items or requirements. Therefore, the test items can be added or deleted according to the different varieties, types, and structural principles of the flow meters, in accordance with the relevant product standards.
