Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, and storage of sliding intermediate bearings (hereinafter referred to as bearings). This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of sliding intermediate bearings for ship shaft systems with a linear velocity of 15 m/s to 8 m/s and a unit pressure not exceeding 10 MPa.
