Scope
This standard specifies the terminology for all parts of the chain-type single-axis tenon-and-groove machine (hereinafter referred to as the machine tool), and, referring to ISO 230-1:1996, stipulates the geometric accuracy inspection of the machine tool and provides corresponding tolerances. It is applicable to machine tools for general use and with ordinary accuracy.
This standard only specifies the accuracy inspection of the machine tool, and is not applicable to the running tests of the machine tool (such as vibration, abnormal noise, and creep of parts), nor to the characteristic tests of the machine tool (such as speed and feed rate). These tests are generally carried out before the accuracy inspection of the machine tool.
