Scope

Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions of jaboticaba, the production environment, seed selection, orchard construction, planting, soil management, cultivation management, pest and disease control, harvesting, storage and transportation, and production archives. This document is applicable to the cultivation of jaboticaba in the Chaoshan region. Main technical content: 4.1 A production area with good ecological environment quality should be selected. The soil environmental quality of the production area should meet the requirements of GB 15618, and the environmental air quality should meet the requirements of GB 3095. The production environment quality should comply with the provisions of NY/T 391. 4.2 It is suitable for cultivation in warm and humid areas with an annual average precipitation of more than 1200 mm and an annual average temperature of more than 20 ℃. The orchard should be selected on a slope-facing south in a mountainous or hilly area, with slightly acidic soil, loose soil, and a low groundwater level, such as red soil or sandy red soil. 7.1 The planting time should be from March to April and from September to October each year. 7.2 The planting density should be determined according to the soil fertility, soil layer thickness, and variety characteristics. The planting specification should be 2.5m × 3m, and the planting density per mu should be 60 to 80 plants.
