Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, marking, labeling, user's manual, packaging, transportation, and storage for methamphetamine detection kits (colloidal gold method).
This standard applies to detection kits that qualitatively detect methamphetamine (MET) in human urine through the principle of colloidal gold immunoassay, as well as combined detection kits containing methamphetamine.
This standard does not apply to:
a) detection kits used for non-human urine testing;
b) kits used for detection by other methods.
