Scope
This standard applies to the management of water pollutant discharge in existing electroplating enterprises and electroplating professional parks, as well as the environmental impact assessment, design, completion acceptance, and post-construction management of water pollutant discharge in new, modified, and expanded projects. This standard also applies to other production enterprises with electroplating, chemical plating, chemical conversion film, and other process facilities. The water pollutant discharge control requirements specified in this standard apply to the behavior of electroplating enterprises and electroplating professional parks directly or indirectly discharging water pollutants outside their legal boundaries.
