Scope
This standard specifies the methods for dynamically or statically extracting fluid samples from lubricating oil systems and hydraulic oil systems.
When it is necessary to analyze the fluids in lubricating oil systems and hydraulic oil systems, proper sampling operations are required.
In order to obtain reliable and comparable analysis results, sampling should be carried out under specified conditions and operating environments.
When the system reaches its operating temperature, sampling from the turbulent state of the fluid is performed, and this method is called dynamic sampling. If dynamic sampling is not possible, sampling can be carried out from the system tank, and this method is called static sampling.
