Scope

This standard specifies the structural forms, technical requirements, materials, test methods, inspection rules, marking, painting, packaging, and storage and transportation of flanged and clamp-connected fluoroplastic butterfly valves.
This standard applies to flanged and clamp-connected steel fluoroplastic butterfly valves (hereinafter referred to as "butterfly valves"). The applicable working conditions are: nominal pressure not exceeding PN16, nominal size DN50~DN1200; applicable temperature not exceeding 150 ℃; applicable medium is low-viscosity acids, alkalis, salts, and other corrosive gases or liquids. When the medium is a liquid, the flow velocity of the medium in the pipeline at full open position is less than 3 m/s.
