Scope
This standard specifies the procedures for rapid evaluation of thermal and electrical comprehensive stress of electrical insulation systems (EIS) applicable to the following equipment:
——Equipment with a supply voltage of 1,000 V or less (DC, AC, pulse);
——Using a winding coil model: suitable for transformers, chokes, ballasts, reactors, ferrite inverters, etc.;
——Products that do not undergo vibration under normal conditions.
To determine the chemical reaction under thermal aging conditions, the model should include all components of the final product. The aging procedure of the entire EIS is not allowed to be modified.
