Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for testing the distinctness, uniformity, and stability of new varieties of plants in the genus Bambusa of the Poaceae family (Bambusa Retz. corr. Schreber).
This standard is applicable to the testing of all new varieties of Bambusa plants listed in the first volume of the Ninth Edition of the Flora of China (1996).
