Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, and marking for exported silk fabrics. This standard applies to the evaluation of the quality of pure silk fabrics, silk fabrics with other fibers, and apparel silk fabrics that have been bleached, dyed, printed, or yarn-dyed. This standard does not apply to the evaluation of the quality of double-cocoon silk, raw silk, silk, and apparel silk fabrics that are blended with other fibers.
