Scope

This standard specifies the methods for measuring the coil length and yarn density of weft-knitted fabrics.
This standard is applicable to all types of weft-knitted fabrics. Detachable warp-knitted fabrics can be used as reference for application.
This standard is not applicable to fabrics that cannot completely eliminate the curling on the yarn under a certain stretching tension, or fabrics that cannot be detached and have damaged yarns.
