Scope

This standard specifies the relevant parameters and measurement methods for evaluating the performance of suspension components, such as centering washers, folded diaphragms, membranes, or cones, before assembly of electroacoustic transducers. The measurement results can be used for engineering design and quality control. This standard can improve the consistency of measurement results among suspension component manufacturers and speaker manufacturers.
