Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of quick-freezing devices (fluidized, spiral, and flat plate), the energy efficiency grade classification and limit values, the evaluation and determination of energy efficiency grades, the calculation of the theoretical refrigeration capacity required for freezing a unit mass of food by quick-freezing devices, test methods, inspection rules, and energy efficiency grade marking. This standard applies to the products defined in 3.1, including the manufacture and application of three types of food quick-freezing devices: fluidized, spiral, and flat plate.
