Main Technical Content: 3.1 Zijin Cicada Tea This tea product is made from tea leaves that have been bitten by the small green leaf cicada. It is processed according to the Zijin Cicada Tea processing technology and features a distinctive honey fragrance. 4 Harvesting and Transportation Requirements 4.1 Harvesting Period The tea leaves are harvested during the two peak periods of the small green leaf cicada infestation throughout the year. The harvesting periods are: late April to June, and late September to November. 4.2 Harvesting Methods Manual harvesting combined with mechanical harvesting is used. 4.3 Fresh Leaf Storage Containers The fresh tea leaves should be stored in clean, hygienic containers made of hard materials such as bamboo baskets, which should be well-ventilated. Do not use containers made of cloth or plastic. 4.4 Transportation Requirements 4.4.1 Transportation vehicles should be clean, dry, odorless, and pollution-free. They must not be mixed or transported with toxic, harmful, odorous, damp, or easily contaminated items. 4.4.2 Transportation should be protected from rain, moisture, and direct sunlight. 4.4.3 Fresh leaves should be handled gently, packed lightly, and avoided from being crushed to minimize mechanical damage. 4.4.4 Fresh leaves should be transported to tea processing factories promptly. If the transportation time exceeds 1 hour, use odorless and pollution-free air-conditioned vehicles. The vehicle should be cleaned thoroughly, and the temperature should be controlled between 5°C and 15°C to ensure the freshness, integrity, and quality of the buds and leaves, without contamination or mixing with other materials. 5 Fresh Leaf Inspection and Grading 5.1 Fresh Leaf Inspection The buds and leaves are graded according to their appearance and composition using the fresh leaf grading standards.
