This document stipulates the principles, methods, and assumptions to be followed by the staff of the nuclear island buildings of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants in terms of safety radiation protection design, radiation environment requirements for equipment and instruments under accident conditions, radiation zoning under accident conditions, and monitoring instrument thresholds.
