Scope

This document describes the method for estimating the public dose caused by effluent discharge during reactor operation. This document is applicable to the estimation of the public dose caused by effluent discharge during reactor operation. The estimation of the public dose caused by effluent discharge from other nuclear facilities shall be implemented with reference to this document. This document is not applicable to the estimation of the public dose caused by the environmental release of radioactive substances during and after a reactor accident.
