Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document: 3.1 "Lianyuan Lianhong" Citrus "Lianyuan Lianhong" citrus refers to early- and mid-ripening fresh varieties such as Jinqiu sugar oranges, Wenzhou mandarins, and navel oranges, as well as processing varieties like Daidai sour oranges, Ou citrus, and Jin citrus, produced within the specific ecological environment of Lianyuan City, between 111°-113°E and 27°-28°N. 3.2 Daidai Sour Orange A citrus species within the Citrus genus of the Rutaceae family, characterized by high acidity and primarily used for processing. 4 Site Selection for Orchards 4.1 Site Conditions The slope should be controlled within 25°, and the altitude should be below 350 m. For sites with suitable conditions, it can be extended to below 400 m. The soil, air, and irrigation water sources must meet the environmental requirements of the NY/T 426 Green Food - Citrus Fruit standard. There should be no quarantined harmful organisms of citrus in the orchard site and its surrounding 1 km area. 4.2 Soil Requirements The soil layer should be at least 0.8 m thick, with loose texture, good permeability, high organic matter content, and good drainage. The pH value should be between 5.5 and 6.5. 4.3 Water Source Requirements The water source should be of good quality, ensuring sufficient irrigation water for drought periods (>10 m3/mu). 4.4 Transportation Requirements There should be good transportation conditions, with mechanized farming roads connecting to the main highway. 5 Planting Technology The site selection, soil preparation, irrigation system, drainage system, and road construction should comply with the requirements of the T/HNSGJXH 0031 "Lianyuan Lianhong Citrus Orchard Construction Technical Regulations". 6 Planting of Seedlings 6.1 Seedling Requirements The seedlings should be virus-free container seedlings, meeting the quality standards specified i
