GB/T 38293-2019 Ships and marine technology—Computer applications—General principles for the development and use of programmable electronic systems in marine applications
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies a set of mandatory principles, recommended guidelines, and related guidance for the development and use of reliable programmable electronic systems for ships. This standard applies to any shipboard equipment with programmable units that may affect the safety or effective operation of the ship. This standard includes information on the technical requirements, operation, maintenance, and evaluation of all aspects of such systems. Most of the principles and guidelines are based on the requirements of national and international standards. The source standard materials and related documents are listed in the references.
Note: This standard does not directly address the performance, testing, or test results requirements related to specific equipment types or functions. For such cases, existing or component standards may be used, for example, IEC 60945 for navigation and radio communication equipment. The responsible departments (such as national authorities, classification societies, or other contracting parties) will determine the applicability of this standard and any special requirements in the event of potential conflicts.
