Scope

This part of GB/T 23718 specifies the requirements for the qualifications and personnel evaluation of personnel involved in machine condition monitoring and diagnosis using acoustic emission technology.
Qualification certificates or certificates that comply with this part are used to certify the qualifications and capabilities of personnel who conduct acoustic emission measurements and analyses using acoustic emission equipment in machine condition monitoring. This certification procedure does not apply to special equipment and other specific situations.
This part specifies a three-level certification scheme for this technical field.
