Scope

This part of GB 24512 specifies the classification and designations, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations of stainless steel seamless pipes (hereinafter referred to as "steel pipes") used in nuclear power stations, as well as their technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certification documents.
This part applies to stainless steel seamless pipes used in pressure-bearing components of nuclear power stations for nuclear safety levels 1, 2, and 3, as well as non-nuclear safety-level equipment.
This part does not apply to stainless steel seamless pipes used in nuclear power station heat exchangers.
