Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and explanations, cable structure, technical requirements, acceptance inspection of cable products, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, anti-corrosion and protection of cables, cable installation, cable replacement, and cable inspection for steel cables used in cable-stayed bridges.
This standard applies to the design, testing, and installation of steel cables used in cable-stayed bridges (hereinafter referred to as cables) that adopt a single PE protective steel cable as the tensile member.
This standard is applicable to cable-stayed bridges of highways and urban roads, and the cables of other engineering structures can also be used as reference.
