Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and contract (or order form) content for tungsten and tungsten alloy scrap (excluding hard alloys) (hereinafter referred to as waste tungsten).
This standard applies to the domestic and international trade of waste tungsten, as well as its use by recycling non-ferrous metal smelting enterprises and tungsten processing and manufacturing enterprises.
