Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of fully (semi-)automatic Kjeldahl nitrogen analyzers.
This standard applies to fully (semi-)automatic Kjeldahl nitrogen analyzers (hereinafter referred to as "instruments") that use the Kjeldahl nitrogen determination method for digestion, distillation, absorption, and titration to measure the nitrogen content in samples.
