Scope

This standard specifies the methods for determining the phosphorus content in fluorescent whitening agent products using the phosphomolybdenum blue method and the phosphomolybdenum yellow method.
This standard is applicable to the determination of phosphorus content in fluorescent whitening agent products.
The phosphomolybdenum yellow method is only applicable to the determination of phosphorus content in fluorescent whitening agent products with a phosphorus content of more than 500 mg/kg.
