Scope
This document specifies the performance testing methods for small fixed solid oxide fuel cell power generation systems. This document is applicable to the following scope of small fixed solid oxide fuel cells: - Output power: rated electrical output power less than 10 kW; - Output mode: single-machine operation with three-phase AC output not exceeding 1000 V, or DC output not exceeding 1500 V; - Fuel: gaseous fuels (natural gas, propane, butane, hydrogen, etc.) or liquid fuels (kerosene, methanol, liquefied petroleum gas, etc.); - Oxidant: air or oxygen. This document is applicable to fuel cell power generation systems whose primary purpose is to generate electrical energy and whose secondary purpose is to produce heat as a by-product. Correspondingly, fuel cell power generation systems whose primary purpose is to produce heat and whose secondary purpose is to produce electrical energy as a by-product are not within the scope of this standard. This document does not include electromagnetic compatibility testing items. Mobile solid oxide fuel cell power generation systems can refer to this document for use.
