Scope
This standard specifies the classification, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and labeling, packaging of plain-dyed yarn products made from polyester (cotton-type staple fibers) and cotton blends, as well as blends of ordinary combed polyester and cotton.
This standard is applicable to the quality assessment of plain-dyed yarns made from ordinary combed polyester and cotton blends (including yarns for woven and knitted fabrics), but it is not applicable to the quality assessment of plain-dyed yarns made from ordinary combed polyester and cotton blends for special purposes.
