Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking and packaging of pure-color cotton-polyester blended yarn products, in which the proportion of cotton in the blend exceeds 50%.
This standard is applicable to the quality assessment of ring-spun combed cotton-polyester blended yarns (including yarns for woven and knitted fabrics), but it is not applicable to the quality assessment of pure-color cotton-polyester blended yarns for special purposes.
