Scope

This standard specifies a method for evaluating the flexibility and adhesion of organic coatings on metal substrates by observing whether the coating cracks or peels off when the coated test plate is bent.
This method can be used to determine whether the paint, varnish, or related products meet the specified test requirements by passing/failing the test, or to determine the minimum bending diameter without causing cracking.
