Scope
This standard specifies the test method for determining the formaldehyde content in food detergents.
This standard is applicable to the determination of formaldehyde content in food detergents, and it is also applicable to the determination of formaldehyde content in non-food detergents. If there is a formaldehyde donor in the detergent, the measurement result will be the total formaldehyde content that may be generated.
The detection limit of the quantitative determination method is 0.7 μg, and the minimum quantitative detection limit is 3 μg. When weighing 1 g of sample for testing, the detection limit of the method is 0.7 μg/g, and the minimum quantitative detection limit is 3 μg/g.
