Scope
This procedure applies to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of multi-parameter monitors.
This procedure covers the verification of four major parameters: electrocardiogram, non-invasive blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and end-tidal carbon dioxide. Any verification of monitors with all or partial monitoring functions shall be conducted in accordance with this procedure.
