Scope

This standard specifies the terms, designations, and definitions of conical straight-tooth involute splines (hereinafter referred to as splines), the calculation formula for dimensions, dimension series, tolerance grades and fit classes, tolerances, parameter annotation, inspection methods, and dimension tables, etc. This standard applies to conical straight-tooth involute splines with a linear tooth profile on the inner spline and an involute tooth profile on the outer spline, a standard pressure angle of 45°, a modulus of 0.50 mm to 1.50 mm, and a taper of 1:15.
