Scope
This standard specifies two methods for determining the crease resistance of fabrics using the crease tester and the Martindale abrasion tester.
Method A (crease tester) is suitable for most fabrics, but not for the testing of the pile surface of fabrics such as long plush and fleece; Method B (Martindale abrasion tester) is suitable for most fabrics, but not for fabrics with high elasticity.
