This standard specifies the terms, definitions, and symbols, principles, instrumentation, dispersion medium and dispersants, test conditions, test procedures, repeatability of test results, and test reports for analyzing the particle size of ceramic raw materials using laser diffraction. This standard is applicable to the analysis of the particle size distribution of ceramic raw materials such as feldspar, quartz, clay, zirconium silicate, colorants, and glazes.
