Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the management of elevator safety technical files, the quality inspection items and requirements for maintenance and repair (hereinafter referred to as "maintenance and repair"), the test items and requirements, and the inspection rules. The implementation of this standard shall be based on the premise that the quality of elevator maintenance and repair meets the requirements of TSG T5001-2009 and TSG T7001-2009. This standard applies to electrically driven traction passenger elevators and freight elevators within the administrative area of Guangdong Province. This standard does not apply to hydraulic elevators, freight elevators, escalators, and automatic walkways.
