Scope
This procedure is applicable to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of optical transfer function measurement devices based on various principles and operating in the visible light band (hereinafter referred to as transfer function measurement devices).
Note: The calibration of optical transfer function measurement devices operating in the infrared band can be carried out in accordance with Appendix C of this procedure.
